Counseling

Persons from every walk of life, level of education, and spiritual upbringing have experienced abuse from people that “love” them. Counseling is for anyone that may be currently experiencing abuse, have left the abuser, and are putting their lives back together.

The Domestic Violence Support Group is held Thursday night at 6:30 PM to 7:30. A Children’s group is also available at the same time and place. Call 615-896-7377 for the location and directions. The Sexual Assault Support Group is available. Call 615-494-9881 for the location and directions or click here to print directions.

Individual Counseling

Individual Counseling can help individuals restart their lives and gain self-esteem. Throughout each session, you look at your strengths, identify your weaknesses, focus on good qualities, and set your self up for success. Individual Counseling is set up by appointment. If you would like to make an appointment for an individual counseling session, please call our office.

Group Counseling

Support groups can be an ideal place to learn about yourself and others, to set goals, and make changes in your life. With the help of group leaders and other group members, you can learn to make changes, practice those skills in the group and then transfer them to the rest of your life. Groups are a safe and accepting environment where you can get honest feedback about your performance and how you appear to others.

In addition, you may learn about yourself through the experiences of others. The Domestic Violence Support Group is held Thursday night at 6:00 PM to 7:30. A Children’s group is also available at the same time and place. Call 615-896-7377 for the location and directions.
